One of the most noteworthy incentives is the Wage Subsidy; the business can receive up to $10,000 when hiring an eligible job seeker. Not to be dismissed is the Small Business Grant NSW; the Small Business Grant is designed to encourage small businesses not liable for payroll tax to create a new role in their business, the role needs to be held for at least 12 months and the business may be eligible up to $2,000 (depending on full, part time or casual) on the anniversary date of the newly created position. The Queensland Government also has a number of support payments of up to $20,000 for businesses who employ eligible job seekers.
